Job Description Overview: u2003As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will become an active member of a team applying advanced manufacturing technologies within the overall goal of modernizing a large pharmaceutical manufacturing clientu2019s workflow and date streams. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of complex automated assembly lines, packaging systems and testing systems. You will exercise hands-on expertise in testing, troubleshooting and improving the installation, start-up, validation, and operation of these manufacturing systems. You will be heavily involved in the software validations necessary to ensure compliance with quality requirements and overall workload. Day to Day: u2022u2003Programming and Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCu2019s, Fanuc robots, Machine Vision, and Panel View HMIu2019s u2022u2003Lead/support capital automation projects from concept and URS through FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) u2022u2003Lead/support root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and risk assessments to resolve complex machine and process failures u2022u2003Serve as SME for advanced PLC, motion control, robotics, and industrial networking systems u2022u2003Direct/recommend safety system design and application in alignment with IEC, ISO, UL, CE, and NFPA standards u2022u2003Follow standardized electrical design, panel layouts, PLC architecture, and structured code methodologies u2022u2003Develop detailed requirements and Validation Protocols u2022u2003Collaborate with engineers to achieve expected quality levels in products. u2022u2003Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards u2022u2003Identify issues and risks and develop mitigation plans with the cross functional team to resolve project setbacks and obstacles. u2022u2003Mentor less experienced engineers and technicians; provide technical leadership through influence We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
