Territory Outside Sales - Door Industry Brantford, ON & Guelph, ONFull-Time, Permanent | Hybrid | Monday-Friday Hired by Express Employment Professionals - Guelph on behalf of our client Role Overview We are seeking two seasoned Territory Sales Professionals to drive business growth across defined regions in Guelph and Brantford. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience selling garage doors, rolling steel doors, or industrial/commercial door systems into commercial and industrial markets. This role requires experience managing complex, project-based opportunities and navigating bid and tender processes. This is a field-focused role with a strong emphasis on: Relationship building Territory ownership Project-based sales execution You will work directly with contractors, builders, and industrial clients while developing and expanding your territory. Key Responsibilities Own and expand a regional sales territory, identifying new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, and project-based bids Analyze project plans, technical drawings, and specifications to provide accurate quotes and solutions Conduct on-site evaluations to assess operational needs and recommend appropriate products or services Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects from sale through installation Drive growth of maintenance and service offerings, establishing long-term client relationships Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and project tracking within CRM systems Stay current with market developments, product innovations, and industry standards Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients, providing guidance and solutions Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience within the door industry Proven track record in project-based sales, tenders, and bid management Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, specifications, and project coordination Experience managing key accounts and growing a defined sales territory Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation Exposure to service or maintenance contract sales is considered an asset Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently Post-secondary education preferred Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G) with a clean driving record Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $55,000 - $60,000 + commission (uncapped earning potential) Company-provided vehicle and phone Comprehensive health and dental coverage Retirement savings program with employer matching Paid time off Work Environment Field-based role with regular travel across the assigned territory On-site client meetings and project visits required Hybrid work structure Culture Our client values inclusivity, collaboration, and professional growth, fostering a supportive and high-performance work environment.
