Job Title: Inventory Warehouse Associate (Lead Track) Job Description This role supports all core warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control. You will handle packaging, crating, bundling, and preparing products for shipment and receiving, while operating common warehouse equipment and technology. The position is designed for someone who wants to learn multiple areas of the operation and grow into a lead role within the inventory department. Responsibilities + Support daily receiving activities, including unloading inbound shipments and moving product into designated breakdown areas. + Perform shipping functions such as picking, packing, crating, bundling, and preparing products for outbound shipment. + Maintain accurate inventory control by counting, tracking, and verifying product in active picking and storage areas. + Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, banding machines, stretch wrap machines, and RF scanners in a safe and efficient manner. + Work primarily in breakdown areas for inbound operations and in active picking areas for outbound operations, adapting to changing priorities throughout the day. + Learn and perform tasks across multiple warehouse areas instead of focusing on a single repetitive function. + Follow established procedures and use proper techniques when handling, moving, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds. + Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to coordinate workflow and resolve issues related to inventory, shipping, and receiving. + Demonstrate strong attention to detail when processing orders, counting inventory, labeling products, and updating system records. + Prepare to assume lead responsibilities in the inventory department over time, including helping guide and support other team members. + Adhere to all safety guidelines, including safe operation of reach trucks at height and proper use of personal protective equipment as required. Essential Skills + Attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory, shipping documents, and system updates. + Ability to physically handle materials in the warehouse, including lifting up to 50 pounds using proper techniques. + Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift. + Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch on a frequent basis while performing warehouse tasks. + Comfort working at heights when operating a reach truck or similar equipment. + Willingness to learn and work in multiple areas of the warehouse rather than performing only one type of task. + Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and support a collaborative warehouse environment. + Basic proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners (or the ability to quickly learn). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus. + Experience with cycle counting and inventory control is highly desirable. + Experience in shipping and receiving operations is beneficial. + Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is an advantage. + Demonstrated planning and organizing skills to manage tasks and priorities in a busy warehouse setting. + Experience in a lead warehouse or team lead capacity is a plus and supports growth into a lead inventory role. Work Environment The position is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment designed for comfort and consistent working conditions throughout the year. You will work with standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, banding machines, stretch wrap machines, RF scanners, and other material-handling tools. The role requires frequent movement, including standing, walking, lifting, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, and crouching. Comfort with heights is necessary when operating reach trucks or similar equipment. Available schedules include a Mondayu2013Friday shift from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and a Mondayu2013Friday shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., providing consistent weekday hours in a structured, safety-focused environment.
