Job Summary: The Powder Coating Prep Technician is responsible for preparing metal parts for the powder coating process by properly hanging, racking, and organizing items on the production line. This role ensures parts are securely positioned for coating and supports overall production efficiency and quality. Job Title: Powder Coating Prep Technician Location: Tonganoxie, KS Pay Range: $17/hr Shift: 6am - 4:30pm M-Th Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Hang metal parts, components, and assemblies onto hooks, and racks prior to coating u00b7 Ensure proper spacing and positioning of parts for full and even powder coverage u00b7 Inspect parts for defects, dirt, oil, or debris before hanging u00b7 Remove parts from racks after coating (unhanging) when needed u00b7 Maintain consistent workflow to meet production goals and deadlines u00b7 Handle parts carefully to prevent damage or contamination u00b7 Assist with masking or plugging holes when required u00b7 Keep work area clean and organized u00b7 Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Qualifications: u00b7 High school diploma or GED preferred u00b7 Ability to lift, carry, and hang parts u00b7 Comfortable working on feet for extended periods u00b7 Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment u00b7 Strong attention to detail u00b7 Team-oriented with good communication skills Work Environment: u00b7 Industrial setting with exposure to heat, noise, and powder coating materials u00b7 Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion u00b7 Use of gloves, safety glasses, and other protective equipment requiredManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
