The Warehouse Worker will perform product selection, receiving and palletizing while adhering to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and customer specifications. 2nd shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm (OT) Hablamos Espau00f1ol Houston, TX Stock Yards Facility ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Pick and pack orders per customer specification. u2022 Scan product as directed to capture required data. u2022 Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weight and break down various products to assist production as needed. u2022 Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment. u2022 Perform various facility sanitation duties as required. u2022 Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management. SUPERVISION: None RELATIONSHIPS The incumbent is required to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels of responsibility throughout the company in a professional manner. QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35u00b0F- 45u00b0F or in the warehouse where temperatures could get up to 95u00b0F. Must be able to work for periods of time in a freezer environment -10u00b0F to +10u00b0F with company provided apparel. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice. Education/Training: u2022 High School graduate or GED preferred. u2022 Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills. Related Experience/Requirements: u2022 Minimum 6 months warehouse experience preferred, preferably in a food environment. u2022 Able to work overtime as needed. u2022 Must be able to operate and walk behind electric pallet jack and sit down or stand- up forklifts. u2022 Ability to lift 10-100 lbs. frequently.
