Empowering ALL to learn at high-levels through systematic district and school-wide support.** **Parowan Elementary is seeking a Full Time Elementary Instructional Coach to work beginning in August for the 2026-2027 school year.** **The Instructional Coach will play a vital role in supporting intervention aides and teachers by providing guidance, resources, and expertise to enhance instructional practices and improve student outcomes.** - **Professional Development:** - **Collaborate with teachers and intervention aides to identify professional development needs.** - **Plan and conduct workshops, training sessions, and coaching cycles to enhance instructional strategies, classroom management, and student engagement.** - **Classroom Support:** - **Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions for teachers and intervention aides to improve instructional techniques.** - **Observe classroom instruction, providing constructive feedback, and modeling effective teaching strategies.** - **Collaborate with teachers to design and implement differentiated instruction and intervention plans to meet the diverse needs of students.** - **Curriculum Development:** - **Assist in the development, selection, and adaptation of instructional materials and resources.** - **Work closely with teachers to align curriculum with state standards and school objectives.** - **Support the integration of technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.** - **Data Analysis and Assessment:** - **Analyze student data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.** - **Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement data-driven instructional strategies to address student needs.** - **Assist in the development and administration of formative and summative assessments.** - **Support for Intervention Aides:** - **Provide guidance and support to intervention aides, helping them implement effective intervention strategies.** - **Collaborate with intervention aides to monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and provide additional support as needed.** - **Collaborative Partnerships:** - **Foster a collaborative and positive working relationship with tea chers, staff, and administrators.** - **Work closely with grade-level teams and other school personnel to promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.** - **During times of state or district emergency, all employees may be required to perform additional duties that are not required on a normal basis in support of educational and operational priorities. e.g. Performs general cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, provides remote assistance to students and staff, and any other reasonable duty as needed.** - **Teachers are expected to dress in good taste and be well groomed, befitting to members of a respected profession. Cleanliness of self and attire, neatness, and attractive grooming are stressed and expected. Teachers should always dress in a manner that professi nally sets them apart from students.
