Job Title

Enoch PD is accepting applications and resumes from certified police officers. Pay will be determined based on experience and years of service. Officers will work under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police, and perform a variety of professional law enforcement work. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: patrol city streets, check buildings for security, be observant to traffic violations, issue citations and enforce violation of city, county, and state laws. Respond to all calls in a timely manner, investigate crimes and citizen complaints/disputes with impartiality, assist on medical calls, investigate deaths, etc. Gather information in criminal investigations by interviewing and obtaining the statements of victims, witnesses, and suspects. Testify in court concerning arrests, accident investigations, and traffic enforcement. Shall investigate traffic accidents; ensure safety at traffic accident, complete reports and diagrams of accidents. Perform traffic control and other safety duties as required. Shall operate radar, intoxilyzer, and other investigative equipment with care. Shall perform searches of people, vehicles, buildings, and large outdoor areas, walk for long periods of time, detain people and stop suspicious vehicles and persons. Assist fellow officers in traffic investigations and criminal investigations. Will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
