Description We are looking for a dependable General Office Clerk to support day-to-day administrative operations for a construction and contractor environment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a mix of clerical duties in a busy office setting. The person in this role will help keep records accurate, office workflows efficient, and team support needs moving forward. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage routine clerical activities that help maintain smooth daily office operations across the team. u2022 Organize, update, and store both physical files and digital records to ensure documents remain accurate and easy to retrieve. u2022 Receive, sort, and route incoming mail, and prepare outbound correspondence, shipments, and packages for delivery. u2022 Use standard office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines to complete administrative work efficiently. u2022 Track supply levels, replenish stock, and coordinate orders so the office remains properly equipped. u2022 Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to staff and leadership on special assignments and general office needs. u2022 Perform data entry and document scanning tasks with accuracy to support back-office processes and record maintenance. Requirements u2022 Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role. u2022 Proficiency in scanning documents, organizing files, and maintaining records in both paper and electronic formats. u2022 Strong data entry skills with close attention to accuracy and detail. u2022 Ability to support back-office functions and manage multiple routine tasks efficiently. u2022 Comfortable operating common office equipment, including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. u2022 Good organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced office environment. u2022 Clear communication skills and a detail-oriented approach when working with team members and management.
