Will add and remove access control for entire campus staff. + Communicates and documents security activities for routine patrols, posting, and assignment of calls for service. + Determines alarm causes, takes appropriate action, and provides direction in both emergency and non-emergency situations. + Other duties as assigned. + Utilizes Closed Circuit TV systems to observe cameras that monitor in-progress situations, and relays information to field responders. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English [Required] • Strong written and verbal communication skills [Required] • 27 wpm avg net typing speed; proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computers [Required] • Multitask proficiently, using multiple computer systems, applications, and technology [Required] • Excellent customer service and satisfaction skills, ensures quality service is delivered to external and internal customers [Required] • Detail-oriented, demonstrate problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adapts well to change [Required] • Ability to sit for long periods of time using a telephone headset/handset [Required] • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision [Required] • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to requests and instructions and emergency code situations [Required] • Clear, concise speaking voice [Required] • Knowledge of security and fire systems, software, and technology including CCTV, Access Control, Duress, Infant Protection, Computer Aided Dispatching, and Physical Security Information Management systems [Preferred] • Knowledge and experience in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) [Preferred] • Bilingual [Preferred] **Education:** • High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred] **Field of Study:** • N/A **Work Experience:** • 1+ in security or law enforcement dispatch or pbx / multi-line in a large business or hospital setting [Preferred] • Prior dispatching experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or fire/emergency medical services [Preferred] • Prior experience with guest service industry particularly with a high-end hotel, airline etc. [Preferred] **Additional Information:** • N/A **Licenses and Certifications:** • International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) [Preferred] **Physical Requirements:** _(Please click the link below to view work requirements)_ Physical Requirements - **Pay Range:** $15.15 - $22.73 _This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances._ **Category:** Patient Experience **Organization:** AdventHealth Zephyrhills **Schedule:** Full time **Shift:** Night **Req ID:** 151884278
