Community Programs Leader - $18.69/hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM; occasional Saturdays The Community Programs Leader organizes and leads participants in a variety of cultural, recreational, and leisure activities. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment for individuals of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, adults, and seniors and is passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment for recreational activities. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and lead recreational and cultural programs (sports, arts, crafts, games, and computer-based activities).Coordinate and manage daily activity schedules Supervise participants and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.Enforce rules and resolve conflicts among participants Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.Provide basic first aid for minor injuries. Distribute, collect, and manage equipment and supplies Assist with transporting participants as needed.Ensure compliance with safety procedures and program guidelines Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required At least one year of related experience (volunteer or paid) preferred Valid driver’s license preferred First Aid/CPR certification required (or must obtain within 6 months of hire) Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills andBasic computer proficiency Ability to lead and engage diverse groups Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Organizational and planning abilities and knowledgeof recreational programming and safety practices Why should you choose Manpower?
