Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDCertificate from accredited School of Radiologic TechnologyNew York State licenseRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (For some positions)Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
