We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist-General. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data.Job Responsibilities:Operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images; performs studies in required modalities. Provides training, guidance to Ultrasound Technology students.Perform ultrasound examinations, including portable studies, Emergency Department (ED), and 2nd floor coverageEnsure all ultrasound rooms are fully stocked, organized, and properly equippedMaintain and monitor the Trophon disinfection system to ensure proper functioning and complianceFoster open and effective communication among providers, front desk staff, and sonographersDemonstrate punctuality and reliability in all scheduled shiftsMinimum Qualifications:Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program.Registered or registry eligible to take the Registry exam (ARDMS) within 1 year of hire date.Required Licenses: Am Rgtry Diagn Med SonographerPreferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Registered as American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
