ResponsibilitiesAs aFiber Splicer, youare responsible for producingend-to-end fiber optic networks.You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the addition, you will:Testing and troubleshooting the continuity of fiber optic networksOperate all testing equipment and be adept at the resolution of challenges common to fiber optic networksExperience prepping fiber splice enclosures such as Tyco,CommScope, Corning, etc.Utilize fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR (Optical Time-DomainReflectometer) 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meterFiber engineer knowledge of fiber design, reading documentation, understanding of light levels, and dB lossWork in outdoor utility construction sites QualificationsAbout You:Safety is a part of your day-to-dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy ahands-onapproach to your workYou are looking forlong-termprojectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamYou have at least 3-5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experienceYou are comfortable working on a ladder or a bucket truckYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy ahands-onapproach to your workYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtimeMOS Codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 relate well to this pensation of $25-$35 per hour.Hard work pays off.
