Interacts with the lounge/bar guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guestsProvides professional and exceptional servicePresents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food itemsInform guests of all food and beverage specials, with pricesRequired to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guestAccurately enters all orders into the POS systemEnsures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guestsMaintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venueReports all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to managementFollow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team playerPossesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the companyServes all beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standardsFollows all company procedures when providing bottle serviceFollows proper cash/payment card proceduresComplies with Department of Health and company sanitation standardsAccurately completes all end-of-shift financial proceduresCommunicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefsProperly sets-up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including:Ensures all lounge furniture is clean and free of debrisSets tables with proper settingsStocks side-stations with prescribed suppliesCompletes opening duties as assigned or pletes closing duties as assigned or directed.Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetingsAttends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetingsLearn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by examplePortrays a positive and professional attitudeDemonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environmentsWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all team membersAssist and/ or complete additional tasks as assignedTRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Tao Group Hospitality in-venue cocktail server trainingEDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:Previous hospitality experience preferredPrevious cocktail server or floor server experience preferredExperience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/loungeSKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULEThe work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
