Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time, in-person opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary caseload during the 2026-2027 school year in Montross, VA. This role focuses on providing direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students, helping enhance their communication abilities and academic performance. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support personnel Deliver direct therapy and provide classroom-based support tailored to student needs Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports adhering to state and federal guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working with elementary-aged populations is desirable Location: Montross, VA Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: 2026-2027 School Year Benefits of This Role: Competitive hourly pay between $45 and $55 Manageable, elementary-focused caseload designed to allow quality care Supportive team environment within the school setting The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young students’ communication development and early academic success If you hold the appropriate credentials and are motivated to help shape the communication skills of children in an educational setting, we encourage you to apply.#p31
