Our client is a window contractor and installer located in Jamaica, Queens and they are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team!Responsibilities:As the Senior Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in the delivery several construction and window installation projects.Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify scope, quantities, and specifications for tunnel construction activities.Conduct quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor cost estimation, and quote analysis to develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to understand project requirements, technical aspects, and scheduling constraints that may impact cost estimates.Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, bid proposals, and cost reports for submission to clients, stakeholders, and internal decision-makers.Update and maintain a cost tracking system to monitor project expenditures, track budget deviations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Participate in value engineering exercises, risk assessments, and cost-saving initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safety standards.Front faces with various clients, must be good presenter and communicator.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.6+ years of experience as an estimator, cost estimator, or quantity surveyor in unitized projects like big window or curtain wall installation.Proficiency in cost estimating software, construction cost databases, and MS Excel for detailed analysis and reporting.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and labor costs specific to tunnelling and underground construction.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.If you're an ambitious professional who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys delivering solutions that drive project success, we encourage you to apply.
