Known for their commitment to quality workmanship and strong customer relationships, they operate with core values centered around community, respect, accountability, and integrity.They are currently seeking a Commercial Flooring Estimator to join their growing team.Position OverviewThe Commercial Flooring Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial flooring projects. This role works closely with customers, manufacturers, general contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project planning and execution.The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze project specifications to develop reliable estimates.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with customers to review project requirements, evaluate job conditions, and measure spaces accuratelyAnalyze blueprints, plans, specifications, and scope documents for commercial flooring projectsCommunicate with flooring manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, product details, and lead timesCollaborate with internal project managers to develop proposals, bids, and project budgetsWork directly with estimators at general contractor companies to clarify scope and ensure accurate project estimatesPrepare detailed estimates using industry-standard estimating softwareMaintain organized records of bids, pricing, and project documentationStay informed on flooring products, installation methods, and market pricing trendsRequired QualificationsStrong computer skills, including estimating software and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of construction practices, preferably in commercial flooring or a related tradeAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction documentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and contractorsStrong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience estimating commercial flooring or construction projectsExperience working with general contractors and project management teamsIdeal CandidateSelf-motivated and proactiveTeam-oriented and collaborativeComfortable working in both office and field environmentsProfessional, dependable, and customer-focusedIf you re looking for an opportunity to work with a respected company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term relationships, we encourage you to apply.#gethiredomaha
