This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and staff management while partnering closely with physicians and the governing board. Responsibilities as the Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator: Operational Leadership: Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to support operational sustainability. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies. Staff Leadership: Lead and develop management and clinical teams to drive performance and accountability. Physician Collaboration: Partner with physicians and leadership to optimize workflows and patient outcomes. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational and financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator: Education: Bachelors degree is required, with a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred. Experience: 35+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting is required, with ambulatory surgery center experience strongly preferred. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of outpatient surgical operations, regulatory requirements, and healthcare management practices is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in healthcare systems, financial management, and operational reporting is required. Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians and staff are required.
