Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations for a healthcare organization in Reseda, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll in a mid-sized employee population and maintaining accurate, timely pay processing. The role requires strong attention to compliance, employee records, and payroll deductions while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule for an employee population of approximately 101 to 500 staff members. u2022 Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and related payroll data to ensure each payroll cycle is complete and correct. u2022 Administer wage garnishments and other withholdings in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures. u2022 Investigate payroll discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and respond to employee questions regarding pay and deductions. u2022 Maintain payroll records, update employee information, and support documentation needed for audits and internal review. u2022 Coordinate with HR and finance teams to confirm personnel changes, compensation updates, and payroll-related reporting. u2022 Assist with payroll process updates or system-related changes as needed while helping maintain continuity and accuracy in payroll operations. Requirements u2022 At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration. u2022 Practical experience handling full-cycle payroll from input validation through final processing. u2022 Background supporting payroll for organizations with 101 to 500 employees. u2022 Working knowledge of payroll garnishments, deductions, and related compliance requirements. u2022 Strong accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven setting. u2022 Ability to manage confidential employee and payroll information with discretion. u2022 Proficiency in general payroll processing and reconciliation tasks.
