summary: Warehouse Lead Location: El Paso, TX Department: Warehouse / Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a team to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This role serves as a hands-on leader who supports staff, enforces procedures, and helps meet productivity and quality goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and support warehouse associates during daily operations Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure productivity targets are met Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and audits Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and company procedures Communicate operational issues, staffing needs, and performance updates to management Assist with resolving order discrepancies and operational challenges Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc. required-skills: High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of warehouse experience; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead by example and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems or scanners Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
