Our mission is to give children an exceptional education in a nurturing environmentu2014every fun-filled day. + Preschool Lead Teacher Qualifications: + Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Preferred + Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Education Special Education Child Development with a focus of study on Birth to 2ndgrade or Nursery Child Psychology + NYS certification (or planning to receive certification) in the following areas: Nursery to 6thgrade Birth to 2ndgrade, Students with Disabilities u2013 birth to 2ndgrade + Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia philosophy and emergent curriculum. + Must be at least 18 years old + Must meet all state preschool teacher requirements + High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours + Demonstrated classroom management skills Preschool Lead Teacher Job Responsibilities: + A Preschool Teacher will accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and will work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all children within the center + Document and share with parents the important milestones in a childu2019s day + Collaborate with other passionate preschool teachers and leaders to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum + Respect and observe children's interests.
