Nanny sought by The Badulaks in Seattle, WA, to care for two young children. 35 hrs/wk, M-F. Work hours may vary without prior notice, including late nights, overnights, and weekends, according to parents' work schedules.u00a0Duties include: Assisting with the children's daily routines and bathing. Changing diapers, grooming, and ensuring their clothes are changed several times a day. Tending to the general and basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure their safety in day-to-day activities. Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, including free play, arts and crafts, games, math, and reading. In case of illness or injury, providing the necessary medical attention, for example, closely monitoring the children's symptoms and health concerns, taking their temperature, and administering medications as directed. Collaborating closely with the children's parents and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Instructing the children on proper health and personal care habits, such as diet, exercise, and toilet behavior, and assisting as needed. Assigning chores as appropriate to teach the childrenresponsibility, self-control, and self-confidence. Creating a safe environment for the children by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Performing housekeeping tasks related to the children's care, such as doing laundry, folding clothes, and doing the dishes. Cleaning up (vacuuming/sweeping/wiping down) areas that the children utilize. Organizing the children's closets, drawers, and toys. Applying modern techniques to support children's emotional and behavioral development. Ensuring safe sleep practices in accordance with age-appropriate guidelines. Implementing safe feeding methods and monitoring children during meals. Supporting the development of emotional intelligence and assisting the children with emotional regulation. Implementing age-appropriate sleep training routines as needed. Assisting with and supporting potty training. Serving nutritious, balanced meals in accordance with children's dietary needs. Duties are subject to change as the children grow.u00a0Requires a High School Diploma, or GED, or a foreign equivalent, and 24 months of experience a Nanny, Babysitter, or Au Pair. Must have had a driver's license, either in the U.S. or any other country, for at least two years, cumulatively. Change of work location to a different MSA within the U.S. may happen with limited prior notice.
