POSITION: Cable Technician u2013 Lead Technician About the Role: This role primarily involves the installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure within a Data Center environment. A key aspect is the continuous pursuit of sustainable, repeatable, and improved solutions and processes. The individual is expected to provide leadership to crews and provide structured feedback on project progress to various stakeholders, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining Data Center cleanliness, and adhering to all production, safety, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. The role also requires collaboration with stakeholders to resolve project obstacles and the ability to read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation. A broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies is essential. What You will Do: u2022Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. u2022Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. u2022Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. u2022Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. u2022Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. u2022Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. u2022Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work. u2022Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
