Job#: 3030644Job Description:Cloud Solutions EngineerLocation: Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract to PermRole OverviewThe Senior Cloud/AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, AWS Agent Core services, and Google Vertex AI. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, supporting enterprise workflows through reliable, secure, and well-governed AI agents.Key Responsibilities- Design and implement AI agents using Copilot Studio, AWS Agent Core, and Google Vertex AI.- Build agent workflows including intent handling, tool calling, memory usage, and multi-step task execution.- Develop and optimize prompts, system instructions, and grounding strategies to ensure consistent agent behavior.- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns using enterprise data sources, APIs, and document repositories.- Integrate agents with enterprise systems and APIs (ServiceNow, internal platforms, cloud services).- Deploy and manage agents across development, test, and production environments.- Implement security controls including identity, authorization, and data access boundaries for agents.- Support monitoring, logging, and usage analysis to improve agent quality, reliability, and performance.- Troubleshoot agent behavior, tool failures, and integration issues.- Collaborate with platform, security, and application teams to deliver approved agent use cases.- Contribute to documentation, reusable patterns, and deployment playbooks.Required QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering. Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications or AI agents is required.
