This role partners closely with divisional leadership to translate enterprise strategy into clear, actionable execution by designing and sustaining the divisional operating rhythmu2014enabling teams to operate with scale, pace, and quality. Bringing together execution discipline, financial stewardship, workforce management, service delivery, performance insights, and risk remediation, the Head of BMO acts as a trusted partner across divisions and horizontal teams. Working collaboratively with Finance, Risk, HR, and enterprise stakeholders, this leader ensures work is prioritized, funded, staffed, governed, and delivered predictably. Provides thought leadership, organizational design, management, and execution of a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) division of Enterprise Technology (ET). When required, serves as the proxy SLT member in meetings and other engagements to increase the SLT member breadth of coverage. 2. Directs and oversees Business Management Office (BMO) core functions including but not limited to Transformation, Strategic Remediation, Cost & Supplier Management, Business Performance & Metrics, and Workforce Management & Engagement, with close partnership to Technology Execution & Performance Office (TEPO) for center-led strategies and process. 3. Directs organizational efforts to partner closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts to develop program design, plan, metrics and execution strategy. 4. Accountable for key governance committees/regulator meetings and produces/manages monthly operating metrics and business mgt review content. 5. Compile regular updates to generate cross-functional awareness such as all-hands, lunch and learns and demo days. 6. Prepare leadership team meeting agendas, team off sites, and communications patterns to foster better interpersonal dynamics. 7. Establish, operate, and improve the systems and processes that capture, track, and report on Invest Portfolio to ensure situational awareness at all levels. 8. Partners to develop business cases and strategies for budgeting, planning, and tracking revenue and/or expense. 9. Work with LOB leaders to establish, document, and communicate planning materials/ business cases and drive the execution rhythm for teams to make progress against those strategic goals in partnership with technology partners and business units. 10. Shape and execute appropriate vision to support Enterprise Technology Division strategic framework, including 3-5-10 year plans. 11. Serve as strategic advisor and counsel to assigned SLT member by acting as a sounding board and providing the pulse of the organization. 12. Execute workforce and location strategy in alignment with Enterprise Technology Division and ET global workforce strategy. 13. Oversee the development and execution of talent programs. 14. Manage and operate key strategic vendor relationships while partnering with Cost & Supplier Management and procurement around renewals and new RFPs. 15. Oversee the development of detailed financial forecast and plan. 16. Utilize cross-functional knowledge to deeply understand business issues, trends, and perspectives to reduce ambiguity across the organization. 17. Improve the effectiveness of SLT directs reports as well as other key leaders across the organization. 18. Ensures implementation and oversight of appropriate risk management plans for program initiatives in area of responsibility. 19. Monitors and challenges performance of current systems and processes. Identifies and advocates for solutions designed to deliver value and mitigate risk as appropriate. 20. Leads multiple teams of internal and/or external resources to execute on vertical targets. 21. Analyzes and collectively manages variances to the program plan and overall portfolio and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Advanced degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 2. Fifteen years progressive related experience in managing enterprise technology organizations combined with overall twelve years progressive related experience in enterprise technology 3. Demonstrated experience in technology operations management, financial management, risk management, people management, issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables 4. Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies 5. Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects 6. Experience in leading regional or global banking teams 7. Broad business acumen skillset to include Financial planning, workforce management, and organizational health Preferred Qualifications: 1. Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (e.g., MBA). PMP and/or PgMP 2. Experience in enterprise technology organizational leadership. Financial services technology experience highly beneficial 3.
