Description Job Title: IT Support Specialist Job Type: Contract 3 months with potential to extend and/or go full time in the future ________________________________________ Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide exceptional desktop support for PC and Mac users at our clientu2019s headquarters. This role requires not only technical expertise but also a commitment to delivering outstanding service and building trust with end-users. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: u2022 Deliver friendly, professional, and responsive support for all PCs, Macs, and mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Android). u2022 Perform basic network troubleshooting and printer support. u2022 Assist with laptop replacements, including data migration, application setup, and user configuration. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly. u2022 Provide clear communication and user training when needed to ensure a positive experience. u2022 Maintain compliance with company security standards and document processes accurately. u2022 Collaborate effectively with IT teams to ensure smooth deployments and minimal disruption to users. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications: u2022 Minimum 5 years of IT support experience, including desktop support for PC and Mac. u2022 Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (especially Windows 11) and Microsoft products. u2022 Hands-on experience with laptop setup, imaging, and data migration. u2022 Excellent customer service and communication skillsu2014ability to explain technical issues in simple terms. u2022 Proven reliability and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: u2022 CompTIA A+ or similar certifications. u2022 Experience with enterprise-level deployments and IT asset management. u2022 Familiarity with ticketing systems and AV support. ________________________________________ Work Environment & Conditions: u2022 On-site support at Corporate Headquarters u2022 Ability to lift and move laptops and accessories as needed. u2022 Must be Onsite, this is not a remote position Skills Support, Troubleshooting, Customer service, white glove support Top Skills Details Support,Troubleshooting,Customer service,white glove support Additional Skills & Qualifications White Glove Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
