Role at a glance Geckou2019s Deployment Leads are the driving force behind delivering Cantileveru2014our AI-powered data platformu2014into the hands of customers. This role sits at the critical intersection of customer value, product strategy, and execution. Deployment Leads are part product manager, part project manager, and part strategic account lead. They manage a small number of high-stakes deployments (typically 1u20132 at a time), where they are responsible for uncovering the most valuable problems within complex, often unfamiliar industriesu2014and ensuring Gecko solves them effectively. This is a highly dynamic, customer-facing role. Deployment Leads serve as the connective tissue between our customers and our internal teamsu2014especially our product strategists and forward deployed engineersu2014ensuring we are both building the right product and getting it over the finish line. Theyu2019re skilled at identifying what's most important, navigating ambiguity, handling tough stakeholder dynamics, and keeping everyone aligned and moving forward. The Deployment Lead is ultimately accountable for making sure Cantilever delivers value. They are business-savvy problem solvers who thrive in chaos, ask great questions, challenge assumptions, and build trust with customers. They are relentless in pushing toward the outcomes that matter the most. What you will do + Serve as the primary owner of 1u20132 high-impact customer deployments, acting as the bridge between Geckou2019s platform and customer business value. + Partner closely with Product Strategists and Forward Deployed Engineers to define what should be built, why it matters, and how to ensure it lands successfully. + Engage directly with customer stakeholdersu2014at all levelsu2014to uncover high-value problems and maintain strong relationships, even in challenging situations. + Drive execution and implementation of Cantilever, ensuring delivery of business outcomesu2014not just software. + Navigate ambiguous, fast-moving environments with confidence, structure, and sound judgment. + Build business models and use data to support strategic recommendations and validate solutions. + Travel as needed (25u201375%) to support deployments, engage stakeholders, and remove blockers. About You Required Skills + 5+ years of experience in roles such as product management, strategic account management, consulting, business development, or program delivery u2014 ideally with a blend of these that shows you can flex across strategic thinking, customer engagement, and execution. + Demonstrated success managing complex deployments or initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions. + Proven ability to identify and prioritize high-value business problems, even in industries or domains youu2019re new to. + Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate tough stakeholder conversations and align cross-functional teams. + Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing fast-moving, evolving environments. + A structured problem solver who can break down abstract business challenges and build models or frameworks to support solutions. + Experience working closely with or within enterprise software organizations. + Willing and able to travel 50% of the time or as needed. Preferred Skills + Background in engineering or experience working closely with technical teams. + Prior work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments (startups, consulting, etc.). + Strong analytical instincts with the ability to dive into data and extract insights.
