As part of the Consumer Products Division, we combine the best of science and creativity to deliver breakthrough innovations that move people and move markets. ________________________________________ The Role We are looking for a strategic, consumer-centric Marketing Director to lead multiple Hair Color franchises for L'Oréal Paris — one of the most iconic and innovative beauty brands in the world. This role is central to driving category growth and bringing incremental consumers into the brand through compelling franchise strategies, powerful product launches, and integrated 360 marketing plans. This is an opportunity for a proactive, entrepreneurial leader who is equally comfortable being creative and analytical, and who thrives on taking ownership of a business with real scale and impact. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning • Analyze category trends and consumer insights to develop long-term franchise strategy • Build and manage short- and long-term plans with a 3-year vision • Oversee plan development and create a clear business vision across franchises • Contribute to divisional strategy and planning processes New Product Development & Launches • Own the end-to-end product launch process, from concept through execution • Lead and present new product initiatives to senior management and international stakeholders Commercial & Sales • Partner with key retail accounts and present marketing strategies • Influence sales strategies to maximize in-store and online performance Financial Management & Forecasting • Manage P&L accountability across franchises • Partner with Finance on budget accuracy, trend forecasting, and financial planning Promotions, Advertising & Media • Partner closely with agency partners to develop breakthrough consumer communications across all touchpoints — from traditional media to digital and data-driven activations Team Leadership • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture and strong cross-functional partnerships (DMI, Commercial, Finance, and more) • Effectively manage, coach, and develop direct reports and their teams • Proactively challenge ways of working and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency ________________________________________ What We're Looking For Experience & Education • 8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in consumer packaged goods or the beauty industry • Proven experience managing product franchises, developing brand strategy, and leading 360 marketing plans • Experience managing and developing direct reports • Hair color or color cosmetics experience is a plus • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Skills & Competencies • Demonstrates L'Oréal core competencies: Leadership, Entrepreneurial Management, Achiever, and Innovator • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance creativity and analytics • Deep consumer centricity and sensitivity to the beauty métier • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong financial acumen and data analysis capabilities • Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ________________________________________ What L'Oréal Offers • Competitive compensation including salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits • A dynamic, inclusive, and entrepreneurial work environment • Access to world-class brands, talent, and innovation • Opportunities for growth within one of the world's leading beauty companies The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $200,000 annually.
