The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety programs to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions; maintaining safety records; identifying potential workplace hazards; and assisting human resources with administrative duties. The coordinator will also play a pivotal role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring employee well-being. Qualifications - Bilingue (Spanish English) - Strong understanding of health and safety standards, OSHA regulations, and risk assessment - Excellent communication and training delivery skills to effectively convey safety practices to employees - Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and reviewing safety documentation and records - Problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying and mitigating workplace hazards - Ability to collaborate with teams and promote a culture of safety within the organization - Relevant certifications, such as OSHA certification or other safety-related credentials, are highly preferred - Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or a similar industry is a plus - Experience in Human Resources is a plus
