Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Honolulu, Hawaii . This is a registry position with our company. Pay Rate: $32 / hour Shifts Available: + Full-time (4 days a week ok) day shift (0600-1430) and/or evening (1400-2230) shift, with weekend availability Job Responsibilities: + We need someone to coordinate scheduling medical appointments for out of facility consultants. They will be working closely with security and medical staff. + Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients + Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior + Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care + Maintain accurate patient medical records + Provide companionship and basic care to patients + Administer prescribed medications to patients Minimum Qualifications: + Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. + A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of HI. + A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) + Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English. + First time Licensed Practical Nurse must have 6 months of recent (within the last 3 years) nursing experience gained within a hospital or similar acute care setting + Correctional experience is preferred but open to reviewing candidates that donu2019t have correctional experience.
