The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing and providing a high level of project support for integrated security systems. This encompasses systems such as Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Systems, and other specialized systems that Evergreen supports. The role involves close collaboration with both the Business Development and Field Operations Departments, ensuring the seamless integration of these security systems.u00a0 The Role u00a0 Design & Technical Support:u00a0u00a0u00a0 + Design Electronic Security System (ESS) projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness in CAD drawings, bid reviews, and cut buildouts.u00a0 + Evaluate electrical systems, products, and components through research and application of knowledge to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, codes, and specifications.u00a0 + Confirm system and component capabilities by designing testing methods and conducting tests. Collaboration & Communication:u00a0u00a0u00a0 + Provide engineering or technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.u00a0 + Support System Engineers, Technicians, and Project Managers through the design process.u00a0 + Collaborate with peer groups in the development, drafting, and finalization of competitive proposals.u00a0 Professional Development:u00a0u00a0u00a0 + Stay updated with relevant regulations, codes, and specifications by maintaining a comprehensive library.u00a0 + Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and complete system certification courses.u00a0 + Maintain and obtain necessary certifications. Operational Support:u00a0u00a0u00a0 + Assist the Business Development team in presenting technical and security solutions to clients.u00a0 + Ensure Project Managers are fully informed on the technical solutions provided, including all related documentation and specifications.u00a0 + Travel to job sites for compliance checks, proposal deliveries, customer satisfaction assessments, and in-depth site surveys Documentation & Reporting:u00a0u00a0u00a0 + Provide Estimates and Proposals for submission to customers.u00a0 + Submit regular status reports to the Director of Engineering or assigned Supervisor.u00a0 + Ensure consistent use of the company's standardized tools and software.
