Submit your application for the opportunity below: OR Scheduling Supervisor The Supervisor Operation Room Scheduling manages and coordinates activities within assigned department, ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. Coordinates and manages, and facilitates workload, assignments, tasks, and projects to support customer needs and department goals. In this role you will: + Assists manager to apply internal department best practices, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and standard operations + Works closely with the manager to determine SLAu2019s, metrics, performance goals, expectations, and other relevant parameters. + Assists manager to improve processes and procedures. Defines and improves customer service operational procedures and interactions with customers, patients, and support resources + Assists manager in communicating CSO processes, guidelines, and standards for the department + Provides input and/or assistance to the manager for the teamu2019s daily operational activities + Lead day-to-day scheduling operations, ensuring timely and accurate booking of surgical procedures. + Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex scheduling issues and last-minute changes. + Support and mentor scheduling coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. + Attend and contribute to daily 5 Day Look-Ahead meetings in the event the coordinator cannot attend to ensure any issues are addressed including preventing cancellations and delays. Qualifications: + Associateu2019s Degree preferred. + Equivalent work experience may substitute. + Minimum one year supervisory experience preferred. + At least two years related experience required.
