Experienced Mason - Learn Historic Restoration & Lime Mortar SystemsThe Durable Restoration Company is hiring experienced masons to join a specialized historic restoration team working on stone, masonry, and preservation projects across federal, military, and historic sites. This is a skilled trade role that builds long-term expertise in historic restoration masonry.About Durable RestorationDurable Restoration is a specialized historic preservation contractor focused on restoring stone, masonry, and architectural structures across federal, military, and historic sites. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON: Work on the restoration and preservation of historic masonry and stone structuresPerform repointing and repair of aging masonry systemsWork with lime-based mortars and specialty restoration materialsContribute to federal, military, and historic preservation projectsHands-on craftsmanship on long-lasting, visible structuresPREFERRED TRAITS:Experience in repointing or masonry repair (historic mortar experience is a plus—we will train the right candidates)Carpentry, metal work, roofing skills are a plusHistoric mortar experience is not required—we provide full training in restoration PENSATION: $20-$40/hr. based on experience and skill progressionPay increases based on performanceBASIC REQUIREMENTS:Masonry experience and efficiencyReliable work ethicPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: Pre-employment drug screening (We are a drug free workplace!)Pre-employment background checkFederal/DoD clearance needed for specific projectsWE OFFER:Paid in house and on the job training.Paid Safety and OSHA Compliance Training.Uncapped Over Time and Work through the Winter.Health, Vision, Dental Insurance and 401(k) after 90 days.Quarterly bonuses for perfect attendance, Saturdays worked and days worked out of town.Promotions based on performance, not tenure.Paid vacation and holidays.Paid travel time, hotel and per diem provided when traveling.
