Clausen Miller P.C. is a nationally recognized insurance defense firm with decades of experience representing major insurers and self-insured clients across complex litigation matters. We’re growing our New York litigation team and looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to work closely with a Senior Partner on a dynamic caseload spanning casualty defense, premises liability, and automobile liability. This is a hands-on role from day one -- you’ll be taking depositions, making court appearances, and developing your litigation skills within a collaborative, well-resourced team. What You’ll Do Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses Conduct and defend depositions Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review Perform legal research and case analysis Appear in New York and New Jersey courts as needed What We’re Looking For 3-5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or automobile liability Active New York bar admission required; New Jersey bar admission required (or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe) Strong written and oral advocacy skills Detail-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment Compensation & Benefits Salary: $105,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience Comprehensive health insurance 401(k) Life insurance CLE reimbursement and bar registration fees covered Hybrid schedule (in-office and remote flexibility) Powered by JazzHR
