Maintains delivery station cleanliness and stocks delivery station with all necessary supplies. Interacts with fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure gracious hospitality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee HandbookAnticipate and accommodate the needs of the guestsMaintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venueDelivers prepared orders in the time frames quoted to guestsWears all safety equipment required by the Department of Transportation including: -Bicycle helmet -Reflective safety vest with assigned ID numberCarries commercial bicyclist business ID card whenever riding on deliveriesMaintains and cleans delivery station according to Department of Health standardsStocks delivery station with necessary supplies and tracks inventory for catering/delivery itemsCommunicates with delivery associates and packer to ensure that deliveries are sent on time and without issueAssists with packing food and beverage for delivery, pickup and catering orders in a timely mannerEnsures that all items for an order are present in delivery bags and catering boxesAssists with preparing trays, condiments, serving utensils, flatware, and all necessary items for catering ordersEnsures all appropriate condiments and utensils are packed with every orderFollow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team playerPossesses in-depth knowledge of all food menus and garnishes for dishesComplies with Department of Health standardsReports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to managementAttends and participates in daily pre-service meetingsAttends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetingsLearn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by examplePortrays a positive and professional attitudeDemonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners and supporting hotel environmentsWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team membersTRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Tao Group Hospitality in-venue delivery driver trainingEDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:1 year of experience in a delivery driver role preferredPrevious experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred SKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULEThe work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
