The Technician C will be responsible for conducting studies in murine models of single and dual infection and related molecular biology techniques, including PCR, NFkB, assays, and quantification of cytokines and chemokines by multiplex Luminex assays. The applicant should have experience working with small animals, and experience with molecular techniques such as RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, protein columns, and ELISA and Western blot assays.Seeking candidates with extensive animal work experience in rodents. Ideally someone with expertise obtaining blood samples from live mice, breeding knockout strains, working with infectious models, isolating tissue, RNA, DNA and PCR.
