The incumbent will oversee staff and services in the region that serves the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens VR Offices. The TAYS unit provides services to eligible and potentially eligible youth, and act as subject matter experts on transition for both the local District Office and the schools in their catchment area. The candidate selected will be responsible for the duties of this position which include, but are not limited to, the following:u2022 Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation for Assistants in the Education of Children with Disabilities.u2022 Oversee staff workload distribution to ensure that regional needs are met.
