Description Our client in Windsor, Connecticut is seeking a Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable supporting day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced environment. Based on general knowledge. The Staff Accountant will assist with general accounting activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close support, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Based on general knowledge. Responsibilities: + Prepare and post journal entries. Based on general knowledge. + Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements. Based on general knowledge. + Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
