Overall, Job Summary:Manages the full lifecycle of Cosmetic Packaging projects for assigned client(s). Monitors and communicates project milestones and progress to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget. Partners across the Brand Development function to identify and resolve project issues; resolves the most complex problems using strong technical knowledge. Your Role:We are looking for a dynamic, packaging project manager to work leading the packaging artwork process, driving all packaging commercialization activities. This position requires proximity to New York City and may be required to visit the client office 1x per week. You will be working in a client's office supporting an SGx team that is mostly remote. Manage Projects and Coordinate Artwork Production Oversee end-to-end workflow of packaging artwork from a highly detailed perspective Oversee and communicate key timelines and priorities Partner and collaborate with internal teams in a positive, professional, and constructive way Ability to engage in pre-production calls to support the packaging team where needed Educate existing and new client teams on their own creative standards and practices Coordinate and Traffic Artwork Production and Prepress Translate client instructions into measurable and effective communication to all necessary end-users Pull pick-ups from artwork management system for SGx production as a reference to create mechanicals Update SGx team with any new brand standards Lead/participate in meetings as needed to review active projects and action items Create, manage and communicate project timelines and submission deadlines Manage extremely tight, sensitive timelines as needed with clear communications on any barriers and timeline risks managing client expectations Manage projects in workflow tool (DragonFly), monitor routing approvals Train new users including client employees and print vendors on the artwork management system and process Supervise and lead to help other members of team learn best practices regarding project management and communication Request color proofs or comp requests where fit Client Directed Resources Locate and share historical artwork files Manage projects from production initiation through supplier proof approval Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure complete and accurate information is provided as required to successfully execute production work Host weekly artwork status call and attend Project Management calls Assist client quality team in artwork history where concerns arise Manage ad hoc requests, including international local production requests Maintain tracking and effectively communicates project status and details, consistently Communicate details about at-risk programs and escalate as needed Encourage packaging regulation compliancy and communicate expectations to cross-functional partners Review and assess Packaging Design turnovers and identify project parameters Monitor consistency across packaging and product portfolio Assist print vendors with DragonFly needs including prepress proof status, troubleshooting, and system training Demonstrate good judgment in choosing methods of communication that are most effec
