Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front office operations. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming workplace, coordinating guest services, and keeping the office organized and running efficiently. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while helping maintain a welcoming and well-prepared office environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain the appearance and readiness of the office by performing routine walkthroughs and ensuring shared spaces such as the kitchen and common areas remain neat and presentable. u2022 Oversee the shared office inbox, respond to general questions, and process visitor-related requests in a timely manner. u2022 Coordinate visitor check-ins by entering guest information into the building security platform and facilitating smooth arrival procedures. u2022 Support secure entry to the workplace by managing access for employees and visitors, including badge distribution and new access card requests. u2022 Assist with onsite meetings and office events by arranging supplies, preparing spaces, and confirming catering deliveries are received and set up properly. u2022 Monitor inventory levels for office materials, place supply orders as needed, and keep accurate records of related expenses. u2022 Receive incoming mail and packages, organize deliveries, and distribute items to the appropriate individuals or teams. u2022 Report workplace issues promptly by submitting maintenance requests and following up when necessary. u2022 Help create a positive office experience by providing courteous assistance to guests, employees, and service providers throughout the day. Requirements u2022 At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or office support position. u2022 Experience handling office supply ordering, mail distribution, and package management. u2022 Familiarity with coordinating guest access, badge administration, or authorization requests within a secure office environment. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. u2022 Comfortable supporting deliveries, catering coordination, and basic event preparation. u2022 Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage shared inbox correspondence effectively.
