For more information, go tomed.nyu.edu, and interact with us on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Facebook, TwitterandInstagram.Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator.The Project Coordinator is a key member of the Technology Opportunities & Ventures (TOV) team and plays an important role in advancing the use of artificial intelligence and automation to support operational, financial, and technology transfer activities across the organization.This role focuses on applying AI tools and workflow automation to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and support data-informed decision making.The Project Coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams within TOV, and in coordination with DAAIT, to support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of applied AI solutions that enhance intellectual property management platforms, finance processes, and other operational systems used across the enterprise.Job Responsibilities: Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:Support continuous improvement of AI workflows and automation systems aligned with TOV innovation initiatives.Contribute to evolving engineering best practices for applied AI delivery within enterprise environments.Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI automation toolsFamiliarity with enterprise platforms such as Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, or workflow orchestration toolsExperience with data processing and analytics tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL, Databricks.Understanding of software engineering principles including version control, testing, and debugging.Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ownership mindset and willingness to learn emerging AI technologies.Proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.Experience or familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation platforms is a plus.Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise finance, intellectual property, or operational systems is a plus.Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.NYU Grossman School of Medicine provides its staff with far more than just a place to work.
