North Americas Top General Contractor is seeking an Estimating Director to lead the administration and execution of all estimating activities, processes, and deliverables for multiple Business Units (BU) or a single Division. Responsibilities uf0a7 Administrates and executes all estimating activities, processes, and deliverables for multiple BUs or a Division uf0a7 Manages workload across all business units within the division uf0a7 Determines manpower needs and manages hiring process for estimators within the division uf0a7 Responsible for the career development and coaching of team members uf0a7 Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members uf0a7 Interprets and translates the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals uf0a7 May be required to assist with tasks typically assigned to more junior positions Qualifications EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION uf0a7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering or Construction Management uf0a7 20+ years relevant experience uf0a7 Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES uf0a7 Ability to lead multiple estimating departments across multiple BUs or a division uf0a7 Collaborative and able to reconcile estimating assumptions with designers and owners uf0a7 Ability to lead the estimating process and deliverable for projects throughout the design phase uf0a7 Ability to present estimating deliverables (internally and externally); participates in interviews during the pursuit phase uf0a7 Ability to conceptually estimate projects with limited information uf0a7 Ability to estimate multiple facility types such as residential high rise, healthcare, interiors, and institutional uf0a7 Ability to estimate within multiple delivery methods (CM@R, DB, IPD, etc.) uf0a7 Ability to maintain strong working relationships with industry partners (owners, designers, subcontractors, etc.) for the development of estimating deliverables uf0a7 Researches and maintains market trends (material, equipment, lead times) relating to estimating efforts TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here ( We are an equal opportunity employer.
