Editorial responsibilities include helping supervise and shepherd titles across all formats through the production pipeline, which involves coordinating with production, scheduling publication dates, drafting P&Ls and contract proposals, drafting and editing tip sheets, reading submissions, and more. Marketing responsibilities will include contributing to Simon Mavericku2019s social media outreach, including but not limited to post preparation and scheduling, creating social media influencer databases, responding to reader and influencer outreach, and helping to create graphic design and video/audio content for Mavericku2019s feeds. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator, able to juggle tasks under deadline pressure, has some experience or interest in social media and/or graphic design, and eager to wear multiple hats within a fast-growing, fast-moving imprint.
