Job Description

We are looking for anAssistant Manager, Dining Reservations to join our team! Job Responsibilities Oversee daily dining reservations operations to ensure seamless, accurate, and efficient guest booking experiences across all restaurants and outlets. Lead, coach, and motivate the Dining Reservations team to deliver warm, professional, and ShangriLastyled service at all times. Manage reservation systems, seating plans, and guest profiles to optimise table allocations and maximise revenue. Handle VIP, special requests, large group bookings, and complex reservations with care, attention, and discretion. Liaise closely with Restaurant Managers, Culinary teams, and Front Office to ensure smooth coordination and consistent guest experiences. Monitor reservation demand, peak periods, and guest trends, providing insights and reports to support operational planning. Resolve guest feedback, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring service recovery where required. Ensure accurate maintenance of reservation records, guest preferences, and contact details in accordance with data protection standards. Support the implementation of dining promotions, campaigns, and special events, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives. Uphold ShangriLa service standards, policies, and brand values while ensuring compliance with hotel procedures and SOPs. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in dining reservations or food & beverage operations, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a serviceoriented team. Proficient in dining reservation systems and basic reporting tools; familiarity with luxury hotel systems is preferred. Strong guestcentric mindset with excellent problemsolving and service recovery abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by operations.
