Job Title: Machine Operator 2 Job Description The Machine Operator 2 runs automated production lines efficiently by performing daily equipment checks, monitoring line performance, handling basic troubleshooting, and escalating complex technical issues to specialized staff. This role supports a smooth production flow and consistent product quality by following established procedures, accurately documenting production data, and communicating clearly with the team. Responsibilities + Operate and monitor the automatic assembly line in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. + Perform daily equipment checks at the start of each shift and complete all required checklists accurately. + Continuously observe line performance and product quality, promptly identifying and reporting any abnormalities or issues. + Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks as trained, such as clearing jams and replacing materials. + Follow escalation protocols by reporting unresolved or complex equipment or process issues to technical support or supervisors. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of production data, downtime events, and incidents as required. + Ensure materials and components are correctly loaded, positioned, and ready for use on the line. + Support team members by covering breaks and assisting with line operations when needed to maintain production flow. + Consistently comply with all workplace safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures. Essential Skills + Demonstrated ability to learn and operate automated assembly line equipment following instructions and training. + Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, interpret, and follow checklists, procedures, and quality standards. + Ability to recognize basic equipment or process issues and determine when to escalate to technical staff. + Clear verbal and written communication skills to report observations, production data, and issues to supervisors or technicians. + Proven teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues as needed. + Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform light manual tasks related to machine operation. + Basic computer literacy to use digital tools or software for monitoring line status and recording production information. + Consistent adherence to safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
