Job Description

​PURPOSE STATEMENT:​Responsible for maintaining patient spending accounts, completing admission and discharge set ups, maintaining files for audits and Medicaid/Social Security packets.​ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:​Provide strong customer service.​Receive and enter all deposits to patient spending accounts.​Record all purchase transactions for patient spending accounts. ​Maintain patient files.​Reconcile Patient Trust and Bank Accounts​Generate Admit documents and process Admits in Medhost.​Process discharges in Medhost.​Work with Medicaid and Social Security on applications and renewal packets.​Work With Patient Trust Auditors​Census report generation and compilation.​OTHER FUNCTIONS: ​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:​High school diploma or equivalent Required. ​Knowledge of medical billing/collections experience Required.Excel Spreadsheet Usage and Creation RequiredMath and Bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge required.Banking or Cash handling experience Required.​LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: ​Not applicable We are committed toprovidingequalemploymentopportunitiestoall applicantsforemploymentregardlessofanindividual’scharacteristicsprotected byapplicable state,federalandlocallaws.
