Full-Time Individual Contrib Anchorage, AK, US Salary Range: $20.50 To $30.80 Hourly This position is responsible for the stocking, inventory, auditing, loading, unloading, receiving, handling and shipping of freight. Essential Duties: + u200b u200bOperate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures + u00b7 Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped + u00b7 Load/unload containers, lift materials, verify and receive POs and BOLs, count and label + u00b7 Pack and/or ship materials in compliance with DOT and Carlile policies and procedures + u00b7 Consolidate boxes and pallets for shipment + u00b7 Note damaged freight, record on BOL and photograph + u00b7 Maintain good housekeeping standards with focus on the care and custody of materials + u00b7 Prepare and prioritize orders for shipment to include delivery documents + u00b7 Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities as assigned based on customer needs + u00b7 Assist in inventory control audits + u00b7 Perform inventory cycle counts + u00b7 Rotate stock to ensure oldest product ships out first + u00b7 Use various shilling/packaging methods such as pick-and-pack, carton, cases, and pallet, to ensure proper order fulfillment + u00b7 Assist in machine installation, with white glove delivery, at customer locations + u00b7 Receive and stock inventory + u00b7 Assist to relieve marking system responsibilities + u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications u00b7 High school diploma or GED u00b7 Previous material handling and forklift experience preferred Benefits At Carlile Transportation, we understand the importance of fostering a comprehensive and supportive benefits package to enhance the overall well-being of our valued employees.
