Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our telecommunications client in Alaska. This role will be mainly remote and focus on small-scale infrastructure projects supporting satellite communications, including the deployment of satellite dishes and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) systems. The engineer will be responsible for electrical design, power systems, and material specifications supporting these installations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AC and DC power systems, conduit design, and battery-backed power solutions, along with the ability to produce clear electrical designs using tools such as Microsoft Visio. Day-to-day: u2022 Design electrical systems for small-scale satellite and telecommunications infrastructure projects u2022 Support deployment of satellite dishes, including LEO and GEO systems u2022 Develop conduit layouts, electrical schematics, and design documentation using Microsoft Visio u2022 Create material specifications and support procurement for electrical components u2022 Design and support AC and DC power systems, including battery and backup power solutions u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to ensure successful deployments u2022 Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure reliability and compliance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
