3rd shift Production Supervisor u2013 10:30pm u2013 7am (Training on 2nd shift 3pm u2013 11:30pm) $90k - $95k/year Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with match Core Responsibilities: u2022 Supervises and coordinates the workers engaged in machining and producing precision and complex parts to meet schedules for the various operations supporting customer requirements. u2022 Performance management, interviewing and selection of prospective employees. u2022 Maintains time and production records. u2022 Responsible for respective consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, risk assessment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). u2022 Meets or exceeds production and quality requirements for the business. u2022 Drives continuous improvement via (Company Enterprise System) principles and practices. u2022 Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. u2022 Ensures equipment is operated and maintained per TPM specifications. u2022 Anticipates and troubleshoots problems with orders and/or equipment. u2022 Collaborates with other production supervisors and cross functional team members for resolution. u2022 Ensures that established policies, rules, and procedures are followed and enforces safety regulations. u2022 Establishes, communicates, and monitors daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for employees u2022 Oversees and promotes safe use of equipment and overall safety culture u2022 Embraces Zone Leadership safety program u2022 Coordinates production efforts with supervision and other shifts or business units to ensure a smooth transition. u2022 Anticipates and resolves the problems based on what is best for the customer and the division. u2022 Acts with integrity and the highest ethical behavior demonstrating Companyu2019s Values. u2022 Balances consistency with flexibility and willingness to adapt to new ideas in the face of new information. Qualifications: u2022 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead position. Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. u2022 Must be a team player and have the ability to motivate or inspire the team to drive and achieve key operating initiatives. u2022 Strong Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel. u2022 Experience with ERP systems desired. u2022 Excellent communication and proven positive employee relations skills. Education Requirements: u2022 BA or BS in technical field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
