Meaningful Work As a member of our audit team, you will be working in a team environment helping out clients solve their business issues in the non-profit, financial institutions, wholly owned subsidiaries, real estate, construction, healthcare, and employee benefit plans industries. You will be responsible for: + Assisting the team on all aspects of the audit and tax engagement utilizing data analytics + Interacting with clients to help obtain the information necessary to complete the engagement within the designated time frame + Understanding and learning the audit methodology + Establishing an effective working relationship with our clients + Providing outstanding client service to our clients + Developing your own internal relationships with and your Whittlesey brand + Beginning to become involved in business development events to help identify new prospects. + Leading your own personal development plan to contribute to your own business acumen. Must Haves + Bachelor Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university. + Entry level to three years? experience required. CPA license preferred. + Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. + Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow-up abilities. + Proven ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions. + Ability to be flexible with respect to work schedules + Attention to detail Preferred Skills + Data analytics courses/certification or experiences + 150 hour requirement and/or master?s degree + CPA or equivalent certification Join Our Team Join our team of professionals who collaborate as well as work independently to help clients in the areas of assurance and accounting.
